By Bus:
| Walk to Harvard Square T (subway) stop and take #1 Dudley Bus ($0.75) to Central Square. Get off at the fire station. Across Mass. Ave. is an abandoned gas station and beyond that is Main Street. Turn right on Main and the Royal East is a couple of blocks ahead on the right hand side at the intersection with Windsor Street. |
By Subway (MBTA):
| Walk to Harvard Square T (subway) stop and take (Red line) train ($1) INBOUND to Kendall Square (2 stops). Go upstairs to the sidewalk and walk on Main Street away from river and bridge. If you are facing the Marriott Hotel, go left. The Royal East is about 4 blocks ahead, on the far left hand side of the intersection with Windsor Street. |
On foot (20-30 minutes):
| Leave the Science Center and walk toward Harvard Square. Once you reach Mass. Ave., turn left and walk toward M.I.T. In about one mile (15-20 min.), there is a fork in the road -- Main Street to the left, Mass. Ave. to the right (there is an abandoned gas station between the two). Bear left on Main Street. The Royal East is a couple of blocks ahead on the right hand side at the intersection with Windsor Street. |

OXFORD ST becomes KIRKLAND ST. 0.07 miles Turn RIGHT onto QUINCY ST. 0.08 miles Turn LEFT onto CAMBRIDGE ST. 0.11 miles Turn RIGHT onto FELTON ST. 0.09 miles Turn LEFT onto BROADWAY. 0.99 miles Turn RIGHT onto WINDSOR ST. 0.27 miles There are two M.I.T. parking lots on Windsor Street which are available for use after 3:00 p.m. without a parking permit. The Royal East is on the corner of Windsor and Main Street. |
