The Open Document Format (ODF)
is a schema for office documents like reports, spreadsheets or presentations.
It is backed by the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information
Standards (OASIS) which was previously called SGML Group. With the ending sxw (Example). it is a gziped file, which contains XML files, image files and other information. Programs like Openoffice or Abiword can deal with this format. Here is a status of application support. A converter in to LaTeX is Writer2Latex. |
