  • Q: I'm asked for a password.
    A: Make sure to chose SSH2 in SecureCRT. The protocol SSH1 will ask you for a password.
  • Q: The sectioning program does not match my name with my HUID.
    A: If your main name consists of several words, try quotation marks. For example, a student with last name Mc Donnald would enter "Mc Donnald".

Use the "SecureCRT" application to connect via SSH2 to "ulam.fas.harvard.edu" with the username 
section
